Anne also accompanied Alicia to the awards banquet. Here is a picture of both of them. They really are grown up.
Well, Alicia did it!!! She is the Champion of the NIJA [Northern Illinois Jumpers Association] in the 2'3" class! She overcame over 50 riders for this honor and the top group was REALLY competitive. For her championship, she recieved the trophy seen here and the garmet bag & hat bag with the champion's logo. She also received spurs, a leather guide rope, and other gifts from the sponsor of her class.
Here is a recent picture of Jeff. He has since shaved off his beard...what a relief. He grows it at the start of each semester and likes it. But now it is off for Thanksgiving. I have a picture of Jeff and his girlfriend but need to upload it to the PC to publish it. Later....

This is Sue. She is Alicia's trainer and was the individual who found Aiden for us. She also rides Aiden to make him into a more complete horse. Aiden is 5 - which is like a young teen in horse years...with all the problems of a teen. Sue assists Alicia in making Aiden into a more "automatic" horse.
This is Alicia jumping 2.9 feet. The horse is just launching off its hind legs.
